Demolition Ceremony – September 8, 2009
On Tuesday evening, September 8, Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory joined Fr. Frank McNamee, pastor of the Cathedral of Christ the King, and fellow priests in a brief ceremony blessing the Cathedral’s green space project. They were joined by parishioners and friends of the Cathedral who came to witness the start of this renovation project which will replace the buildings adjacent to the school campus with green space and a grotto for the Cathedral.
