Cathedral Choir

Cathedral Ensemble

Supports the 5:30 Sunday liturgy in the Cathedral. Rehearsals are every Thursday night, September through May. The group sings a variety of styles using keyboard, guitar, electric bass, percussion and various wind instruments. New members are invited to audition.

Handbell Choir

This 60-bell instrumental ensemble is made up of 14 ringers beginning with grade 7 through adult who possess a moderate level of music reading ability. Rehearsals are Mondays, 7:00-8:00 p.m.

Hispanic Choir

This is a dynamic group that joyfully leads the Spanish language liturgy in traditional as well as contemporary music from various Hispanic cultures. Men and women are welcome to join.

Schola Nova (Women’s Choir)

Supports the 12:00 noon Sunday liturgy with a mix of contemporary and traditional song. Rehearsals Wednesdays, 6:30-7:20 p.m.

Songleaders

Summer Ensemble

A non-auditioned, limited commitment ensemble which supports the 5:30 p.m. Sunday liturgy during the summer months. Members sing for any time from one week to three months.

7:00 p.m. Mass Worship Music Ministry

Contact: Tara Scavelli...after 7PM Mass

This group of singers and instrumentalists leads the 7:00 p.m. Mass with Adult Contemporary and Praise and Worship music using voices, keyboards, guitar, bass and percussion. Weekly Tuesday night rehearsal from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Life Teen Band

Praise and worship for the 5:30 p.m. Life Teen Mass celebration and for retreats with teens. Volunteers needed for set-up and sound control.

Boy Choir

Open to 15 choristers in grades 4 through 8. Interested boys should arrange a registration appointment with Dr. Wissler before enrolling. Rehearsals are from 2:00-3:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, including a snack break. This choir participates approximately once a month at the 9:00 a.m. Mass.

Girl Choir

Open to 25 choristers in grades 4 through 8.

Interested girls should arrange a registration appointment with Dr. Wissler before enrolling. Rehearsals are Thursdays from 3:00-4:30 p.m., including a snack break. This choir participates approximately once a month at the 9:00 a.m. Mass.

Preparatory Choir

For boys and girls in grades 2 and 3.

If interested in joining, please call Mrs. Shipley to arrange a registration appointment before enrolling. Rehearsals are Tuesdays from 3:00-4:15 p.m. Snack time: 4:15-4:30 p.m. This choir sings approximately once a month at the 9:00 a.m. Mass.

Cherub Choir

Open to boys and girls in kindergarden, Pre-1st and 1st grades. If interested in joining, please call Mrs. Wright to arrange a registration appointment before enrolling. Rehearsals are on Mondays from 3:00-3:45 (including a snack time) or on Thursdays from 3:00-3:45.
