Visitation Ministry encompasses the CK Buddy’s, Communion of the Sick, and Ministry to the Homebound. The Eucharist, visits, and Outreach Masses are provided to the sick, the elderly and the homebound.
If you would like to ‘Adopt a Grandparent’ or be a ‘CK Buddy’ for a parishioner without family, you can volunteer just one hour a week; day or evening, weekday or weekend. VIRUS Protecting God’s Children training is required (click here for more information on VIRTUS).

Communion to the Sick
Volunteer to bring Holy Communion to the Sick and Assisted Living Facilities in our parish! In bringing Holy Communion to the sick, you minister to the whole person – body, mind, and soul – as you answer Jesus’ calls to visit the sick (Matthew 25:31-46). If you are a certified Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (EMHC), the only qualification is your desire to help someone in need and brief training.
To get started, all you need to do is complete VIRUS Protecting God’s Children training is required (click here for more information on VIRTUS) and sign up for a 45-minute training Communion of the Sick training session after receiving certification as a EMHC.
