Decisions Related to Long-term Illness, Dying and Death – Aug. 19 & 26
July 1st, 2010A young mother of 3 children has been in intensive care for two weeks with cancer. After two surgeries and chemotherapy, the doctors believe the cancer cannot be cured. Her hospital care is over $100,000. Her prognosis for recovery is very bleak. As a Catholic, what are the options and what does the Church teach?
Join us on Thursdays, August 5, 12, 19, 26, as we hear speakers who explore the teachings of our Catholic faith concerning decisions related to long-term illness, death and dying and how to plan for funeral arrangements.
